 Dear Independent Crop Consultant:

The Iowa Soybean Association and the North Central Soybean Research Program, are pleased to announce the introduction of Crop CheckTM  a Web based grain production and financial analysis program.  We are very excited about the services Crop Check will provide to you as a professional crop consultant and your clients.  This new software will enable you to easily analyze your customer’s production costs and practices and compare them to other Crop Check users.  Crop Check is being offered to soybean and corn growers at NO COST because its development was partially funded through the national checkoff program.

The December issue of Soybean Digest has a series of articles discussing Crop Check and its value to soybean and corn producers.  Grower interest in this program has been quite strong during its development and promises to be even stronger after reading these articles.

Please take a few moments to go the Crop Check Web site, download the software and see how easy it is to start entering your customers information.  Without a doubt, Crop Check has immense value.  As a crop consultant, we know that you recognize the importance of evaluating management practices from both a production and financial basis.

Give Crop Check a try!  We’re sure you will agree that it is one of the most useful tools available today and we feel that it will be another tool that can offer additional value to you clients.  If you have any questions give us a call at 1 800 383-1423.

 Sincerely,

David L. Wright, Ph.D.                            Grant Kimberley
